The Culinary Club is an educationa equalizer where all are welcomed regardless of their skill level. The primary goals and successes of The Culinary Club, are to provide food education and to increase skills and knowledge in healthy eating, food preparation,and food purchasing among young people. Classes will be offered 5 days per week, with fieldtrips and special activities on the weekends. The Culinary Club will partner with the Contra Costa College Culinary Program in collaboration for teaching as well as certifications. Other partnerships will be developed with local colleges for a variety of pathways in sciences, plants, agriculture and health studies.
